Logistics Management Awards Unyson Prestigious Quest for Quality Award
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Sept 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Unyson Logistics, a Hub Group Company (Nasdaq: HUBG), received the Quest for Quality Award by Logistics Management magazine for being the highest rated provider of third-party logistics services. This is the 26th year for the prestigious Quest for Quality award, one of the most important measures of customer satisfaction in the logistics industry. The award was presented to Unyson at the annual Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals conference in Chicago, Illinois on September 23, 2009.
The Quest for Quality winner is determined using data from an annual survey sponsored by Logistics Management that measures transportation and logistics service providers in key areas. The survey is sent out to senior executives and asks the respondents to evaluate their transportation and logistics service suppliers. Third-party logistics providers are rated on: Carrier Selection & Negotiation, Order Fulfillment, Transportation & Distribution, Inventory Management, and Logistics Information Systems. Unyson received the highest overall score in the third-party logistics category.
