Hub Group Receives U.S. EPA 2014 SmartWay Excellence Award
Award Recipients are Top Program Performers and Leaders for Freight Supply Chain Efficiency

OAK BROOK, Ill., Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub Group (NASDAQ: HUBG), a leading provider of intermodal, truck brokerage and logistics services, was honored with a SmartWay® Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a true industry leader in freight supply chain environmental performance and energy efficiency. In this year alone, Hub Group was able to assist its customers in reducing their carbon footprint by saving over 102 million gallons of fuel and over 2 billion pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.

The Carrier Excellence Awardees were honored at The American Trucking Association's Annual Management Conference & Exhibition held in San Diego, California on October 7, 2014.
