OAK BROOK, Ill., April 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub Group (NASDAQ: HUBG) announced today that Executive Vice President of Sales, Jim Gaw, will retire effective June 30th. Mr. Gaw has held various senior leadership positions throughout his 28-year career at Hub Group, including President of Hub North Central and Vice President / General Manager of Hub City Terminals, and has played an integral role in Hub Group's growth throughout his career.

With Gaw's upcoming retirement, Steve Rand has been promoted to fill the position of Executive Vice President of Sales. Rand joined Hub Group in 2015. Rand's background consists of long-term C-level assignments, including President and CEO at AMPORTS for seven years. Prior to AMPORTS, Rand served as VP Sales and Marketing of CSX for 13 years. "Given Steve's vast operational and commercial experience, outstanding leadership skills and proven results, we're very excited to have someone of his caliber assume this role," continued Mr. Maltby.
